About JDI Global

JDI Global is a Web3 hardware manufacturer founded in 2022, focused on the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) sector. Its core business involves developing physical hardware devices that integrate with blockchain networks, enabling users to participate in decentralized infrastructure projects through real-world equipment.

The company's main value proposition lies in bridging the gap between physical hardware and Web3 ecosystems. By manufacturing specialized devices, JDI Global helps solve the problem of connecting real-world infrastructure—such as wireless networks, geospatial data collection, or energy systems—with decentralized token incentive mechanisms. This addresses the market pain point where traditional hardware manufacturers lack blockchain expertise, while pure software projects struggle to deploy physical infrastructure.

In terms of recent development, JDI Global has maintained an active role in the DePIN space, publishing annual industry reports and contributing to ecosystem growth. The company has also invested in and supported multiple DePIN-related projects, including MetaPhone, Roam, and GEODNET, indicating its strategy of expanding beyond hardware manufacturing into broader ecosystem building.

No significant negative information was found in the past two years. The company continues to operate as an active player in the Web3 hardware and DePIN sectors.

JDI Global is a Web3 hardware manufacturer under JDI Group, founded by Yiming Wang. The entity was established in 2022, focusing on DePIN hardware and decentralized ecosystems. Since 2019, the JDI Group has been deeply involved in hardware deployment for projects such as Helium and DIMO, addressing supply chain and community issues in Asia, and has become one of the earliest and largest hardware participants in the DePIN sector.

In March 2023, JDI Global completed a strategic funding round with participation from Dragonfly, Futuremoney, and others, strengthening R&D and product commercialization. In 2024, its investment arm JDI Ventures backed projects including GEODNET, Roam, PowerPod, and Wicrypt, covering wireless networks, vehicle data, energy, and other segments.

In June 2025, JDI fully acquired the blockchain platform Moonchain, integrating its IoT blockchain technology with JDI's hardware manufacturing capabilities, and launched the iHO (Initial Hardware Offering) model, turning consumer hardware into minable nodes to drive large-scale DePIN adoption.
